Hello:
My family members and I, a group of seven, truly
enjoyed our tour last Saturday, 19 February 2011 ,
to Glendalough and Kilkenny. Our tour guide, Jerry,
gave us insights into Irish history from ancient to
contemporary times and provided us a lot to think
about. He is a very impressive young man. We also
appreciated the expertise of our driver, Hugh.
Thanks for a wonderful, thought-provoking
experience.

(24
January 2011) Many thanks to Niamh and Bob for a
great day out - we really enjoyed the commentary,
history and the great variety of your tour. We
really appreciated the separate tour guide as Niamh
was able to take us on a full walking tour of
Glendalough to the Upper Lake, Lower Lake and
Monastery while Bob took the coach back to the coach
park and waited for us there!
I believe there are few tours to include a separate
tour guide and driver. This makes yours a better
quality tour by far.
Keep up the good work!
Wendy F.
We took
your day tour through the Wicklow area and finishing
in Kilkenny. (2010)
It goes with out saying that it was a most fantastic
tour.
It was fantastic and we enjoyed it immensely.
But, the stand out of the day was the tour guide and
driver we had.
We had Jerry and his sidekick the driver Paddy.
Paddy (I think his name was) was dress in a tie and
was extremely professional. A very nice gentleman.
That brings me to Jerry………………. J J
You know, he may not have had a suit and tie on but
he was extremely knowledgeable of the tours setting
and everything about Irish history, geography,
politics and religion.
He knew everything that we asked him. He laid out
the tour dialog to perfection. He made it
interesting. He made it amusing. We couldn’t have
asked for anything better.
You at Collins have a fantastic tour guide in this
Jerry guy. I can’t say enough about your wonderful
tour. And as far as I‘m concerned Collins may not be
the biggest tour company in town, but it’s the BEST!
It’s the best because of you having guys like Jerry
and Patrick to entertain us for a whole day. If
there was a way of sticking a couple pints of
Guinness in this email I’d sent a couple of ‘em to
those guys.
Thanks for a wonderful tour.
Cheers,
S. Marek
Dear
Madam/Sirs,
My wife and I had the pleasure of taking your
Glendalough and Kilkenny Day Tour on September 20,
2010 with driver Hugh and guide Gerry.
Both men were a credit to your company in
professionalism, friendliness, and historical
knowledge of the area and subject. Gerry's in-depth
presentation excelled above any previous tour that
we have ever been on. His historical and
architectural knowledge was marvelous (he and I
could compare our historical readings one for one
and cross examine and compare our understandings).
Your tours are far above in content, presentation,
scope of tour, and transportation vehicle of
anything that we have seen in the city. We will be
recommending your tours to everyone and I have
already informed our hotel's corporate offices of
our satisfaction.
Thank you for a wonderful day.

Sensational experience! Breathless scenery in
Glendalough, wonderful tour guide, comfortable
coach. Kilkenny is amazing, full of surprises - we
feel we have made the most of our trip to Ireland!
Highly recommended!

Our tour
guide and our driver made our trip very special and
everything 'came alive'. Great value tour. We saved
a full day by doing both Wicklow and Kilkenny same
day!

Recently
we had been to Dublin and took the day tour to
Wicklow, Glendelough and Kilkenny on June 21, 2010.
We would like to let you know that we have enjoyed
the tour very much. The tour guide was extremely
knowledgeable, very energetic and detail oriented.
We really appreciated the information provided by
the guide.
Also we would like to especially thank you for
locating my cell phone lost during the tour and for
handing it over to me following day. Overall our
experience was very positive and I would recommend
your tours to any one visiting Ireland with no
hesitation.
Kind regards,
P. Turlapaty
