Our tourism experience extends back to 1979 – with vast qualifications and experience in customer care, tour guiding, transport logistics, tour management, business management and languages.

The emphasis is to provide a high level of quality and service by providing comfortable, spacious, modern coaches for our excursion along with a separate professional driver and qualified tour guide

Reliability is top of the list – we carry out our promises and endeavor to give you the top class tour you expect.

We respect our customers views and are prepared to improve our service with any recommendations – (email to info@collinsdaytours.com)

We believe that the Tour Guide is the most important element in a successful touring day – bringing everything ‘alive’ and giving meaning to every part of the countryside, walking tours and visits. That’s why, unlike most excursion companies, we have a separate Tour Guide and Coach Driver.
We don’t believe the Driver can do both jobs – Driving and Guiding – the guide can concentrate on the presentation and the Driver on the driving!
This also allows the guide to bring you on the Lake Walk in Glendalough and the Walking Tour of Kilkenny – most other companies leave you free to discover on your own.
Our Tour Guides are all Approved and have completed their training course and examinations.
They all have several years experience and are always delighted to assist you in any way possible during the tour.

Our impressive fleet consists of modern, high quality, air-conditioned touring coaches that are approved to Failte Ireland Standards. All of our coaches carry at least a four star rating. We use full size coaches which means extra space and comfort compared to other ‘midi’ or ‘mini’ coaches so often used by other companies.
Most of our coaches also have FREE WiFi Onboard
